We are returning once again to that old favourite Poole for a “relaxing” Bank Holiday meet and a Saturday dinner in the celebrated private fine dining room of the RNLI Lifeboat College. The view from this dining room is particularly spectacular with panoramic views over the whole of Poole Harbour.

Saturday 27th August
We will meet in the “Riggers Bar” of the Lifeboat College from 1900 where there is a cash bar and at 1930 we will ascend to the Harbour View Suite for a three course dinner with wine, the cost of which is £35.

Sunday 28th August
Should there be a demand, arrangements can be made for a Sunday boat trip out to the National Trust Brownsea Island but do remember to bring your NT membership card for free landing on the island.

Pontoon Party
A pontoon party is planned for 1800 on Sunday 28th August to which small eats and a bottle of “fizz” should be brought. Dining that evening is by own arrangement.


Shore Parties
Shore parties are particularly welcome and RNLI members can stay at the Lifeboat College (space permitting).  Contact the College direct on 0870 833 2000 / 01202 308500 for details or visit their website www.rnli.org.uk

Poole has many visitor attractions and alternative dining options as well as award winning beaches – the perfect place for a “relaxing” Bank Holiday.  More information at: www.pooletourism.com


Berthing
Berthing will be reserved at Poole Quay Boat Haven which has excellent facilities and is close to all the action and shops. Their website is www.poolequayboathaven.co.uk.  Each skipper should pay their own mooring fee. 


Next Steps
Bookings should be made using the Register button, as soon as possible and by 18th August at the latest.
  • Skippers please say whether you wish to book a berth through the Club (you will settle berthing fees directly).

  • Register any guests you are inviting and under your payment.

  • Shore parties please register here too.
