Concert Tickets
The club is leaving it to individuals to purchase their own concert tickets and we would recommend that these are purchased as soon as possible to secure the best price. These can be purchased on the BSO web site (www.bsolive.com) or by calling the box office on 01202 669925. The BSO web site has further details of the concert programme. Tickets are on sale now at £24 per adult.

There is no catering at the venue but the grounds will be open from 1800 for people to picnic before the concert starts at 1945 which is what we plan to do, so please arrange your own food and drink.

Rig will be smart casual but as the concert is al fresco some warm clothing is advised with waterproofs depending on the forecast. The concert is due to finish at approximately 2225.

Shore Parties are also most welcome.

Berths have been reserved at Island Harbour Marina for Saturday 23rd July, skippers to settle their own berthing fees. HW Island Harbour on Saturday 23rd July is predicted to be 1630 BST and as skippers will be aware entry can be made subject to draft between 3-4 hours either side of this time.

Allocation of berths will be on a first come basis; thereafter a waiting list will be maintained.

Mini bus or taxi transport will be provided from Island Harbour to Osborne House for people, picnic food, blankets and chairs from about 1730, and back to Island Harbour after the concert, for which the cost will be £5 per person for the return trip.

Osborne House is located on the hill overlooking East Cowes.  The address is The Avenue, East Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO32 6JX. Once on the Island follow signs to Newport and then pick up the brown tourist signs to Osborne House. Parking for the concert is free of charge – follow the temporary car park signs and diversion. Southern Vectis (01983 827005) buses pass outside the main gate of Osborne House. Taxis must use the special taxi drop-off and pick-up point located at the “Queen’s Entrance” on New Barn Road. There are facilities for disabled visitors at the venue.

Pontoon Party
It is planned to have a pontoon party at noon on the Sunday for which a bottle of bubbly and one plate of “small eats” per ship will be appreciated.

Bookings should be made using the Register button, as soon as possible.

  • Skippers please say whether you wish to book a berth through the Club (you will settle berthing fees directly).

  • Register any guests you are inviting and under your payment.

  • Shore parties please register here too.

  • Allocation of berths will be on a first come basis; thereafter a waiting list will be maintained.
