Once again by kind permission of the Mess President of HMS President, we are holding our annual fitting out lunch on board HMS President Wardroom.
Situated in a beautiful location overlooking the river Thames and Tower Bridge. Its always great to be able to visit HMS President and met up with fellow RNVR members to discuss the forthcoming program on the water, and hopefully met up with some of our serving members on board HMS President.

For those attending by boat, there may, by prior arrangement, be berths available on the pontoon at HMS President. Alternatively, for any requiring a berth out of the tidal flow, easily accessable berths are available in the adjacent St Katherine's Dock Marina.

The most attractive route from nearby Tower Hill station to HMS President, is down the steps to the walkway around the Tower Gardens and then through St Katherines Marina as shown on the plan below the website notice. This scenic route avoids the need to walk along or cross any busy roads.

The cost of the lunch will be £36. A cash bar will be available from 12.00. Lunch which will be served from 13.00.
The menu is as follows
Starter: Duck Liver parfait served with express plum chutney and toasted brioche.
Main: Fried Chicken breast in a mushroom and madeira sauce.
Desert: Tropical fruit salad with a Colada Cream.
   Afters: Tea, Coffee

The nearest underground station is Tower Hill (District & Circle Lines), which is a leisurely 15 minute stroll to HMS President.

From Tower Hill station, proceed down the steps and under the main road, to the walkway around the Tower Gardens and then through St Katherine`s Marina, over the pedestrian drawbridge and past The Dickens Inn, as shown on the plan below. This scenic route avoids the need to walk along or cross any busy roads.

The Wardroom is at street level so accessibility is good.

From 1200 to 1600.

The rig will be lounge suit or blazer and club tie or lady’s equivalent.  Optional No. 1 uniform for serving members of the RNR.
